The short version
Your photographs stay on your device. Cur.AI.ted reads them locally in your browser and never uploads, stores, changes, or deletes your originals. We collect the minimum needed to run your account, and we sell nothing about you to anyone.
Your photographs
Curation happens in your browser. When you run a story search, only small composite contact sheets built from your confirmed chapter are sent to our AI provider for story reasoning, and they are not retained to train models. Finished mosaics and folios are rendered on your own device. If you keep a collection, its thumbnails live in your browser’s local storage, on your device.
What we do collect
- Your email address, if you create an account, used to sign you in and attach your access.
- Your access records: which tier you hold, where it came from, and when it changes.
- Usage counts for story searches and collections, which is how your plan’s limits work.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers. If your access is included with a Practice Village membership, Practice Village tells us only that your membership is active for your email address.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.
Deleting your data
Removing a kept collection from your device deletes it, because your device is the only place it exists. To delete your account and its records, email info@aidedeq.org from your account address and we will remove them.
