The short version

Your photographs stay on your device. Cur.AI.ted reads them locally in your browser and never uploads your original files to our servers or changes or deletes your photo-library originals. We collect the minimum needed to run your account, and we sell nothing about you to anyone.

Your photographs

Curation happens in your browser. When you run a story search, only small composite contact sheets built from your confirmed chapter are sent to our AI provider for story reasoning, and they are not retained to train models. Finished mosaics and folios are rendered on your own device. If you keep a collection, its working photos and thumbnails live in your browser’s local storage, on your device.

Saved collections on this device

Your account and access work across devices. Collections and finished downloads stay in the browser where you created them and do not automatically sync. To reopen work made on another device or browser, return to that browser.

Saved collections contain story notes, layout choices, and small photo previews. Completed Folio PDFs and mosaic PNGs are saved separately in My keepsakes when your browser can store them. You can download a saved finished file again without selecting originals. Deleting a working collection keeps those finished files; deleting a keepsake is a separate choice. Anyone using the same browser profile can see this work, even after sign-out.

The browser also keeps resized working photos for new Folios and mosaics, subject to available space. Older collections, or photos that could not be kept, require you to choose the missing originals once. These working photos are not included in a collection-data export. Browser settings, private browsing, or clearing site data can remove them. Cur.AI.ted does not automatically delete a collection after a time limit.

Cur.AI.ted does not change or delete photos in your Photo Library. After you save and check a keepsake, you decide which originals to keep. Keep anything irreplaceable in your library or another trusted backup, and save a copy of important finished work outside this browser. Cur.AI.ted’s browser copies are creative working materials, not a photo backup.

During photo selection, checks run on your device and originals are not changed. Family or group photos currently need to be gathered on one device; separate-device contributions are not available.

What we do collect

• Your email address, if you create an account, used to sign you in and attach your access.
• Your access records: which tier you hold, where it came from, and when it changes.
• Usage counts for story searches and collections, which is how your plan’s limits work.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers. If your access is included with a Practice Village membership, Practice Village tells us only that your membership is active for your email address.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.

Deleting your data

Removing a working collection from your device deletes its photo copies, previews, and story drafts. Finished files in My keepsakes remain until you delete them separately or clear this browser’s site data. To delete your account and its records, email info@aidedeq.org from your account address and we will remove them.
